From a record 900-plus architectural projects entered in the 2010
National Architecture Awards, which one project will be named
best public building in Australia this year? Which single project
will be crowned best residential, which one the most
sustainable, and which urban design project for a nation of city
dwellers nominated as superior to all others?
Australias most inspirational new architectural projects, and the top architects
responsible for them, will be revealed on Thursday 28 October at the 2010
Australian Institute of Architects National Architecture Awards in
Canberra.
Key awards to be announced include Australias most prestigious architectural prizes - the
Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture, the Robin Boyd Award for
Residential Architecture, the Jorn Utzon Award for International Architecture, and
the 25 Year Award for Enduring Architecture.

public exhibition of full-colour images of all this years winning projects will be
launched immediately following the awards presentation at the Australian Gallery of
Design (GAD), located on the foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra.
