Airport Cities World Conference and Exhibition (ACE 2010) to be Held in Beijing

BEIJING, Mar. 16 /PRNewswire-Asia-AsiaNet/ --

ACL to host airport city industry's highest-level event, held in mainland China for the first time

Airport City Development, Ltd. (ACL) announced today that it will host the 10th Airport Cities World

Conference and Exhibition (ACE 2010) in the China World Hotel Beijing from April 21 to 23, the first time the

highest-level event in the airport city industry will be held in mainland China.

Desmond Shum, ACL Vice Chairman & CEO said: "It is a great honor and pleasure for ACL to host ACE

2010 in Beijing. With T3 - one of the world's largest terminals - already in operation at Beijing Capital

International Airport, Beijing, along with its airport city, has become an even more optimal venue for hosting

ACE. What makes us more excited than ever before is that, in the beginning of this year, the Beijing Municipal

Government announced its intention of building Beijing into a 'World City.' With the world focusing on China

and Beijing, we believe that ACE 2010 will stimulate active discussions and new ideas, providing Chinese

airports with the best platform to understand and communicate with their international counterparts."

Both Desmond Shum, ACL Vice Chairman & CEO, and Ellen Hu, ACL Vice President, will deliver keynote

addresses at this year's ACE. Additionally, a number of domestic and international experts and scholars in the

field will participate, including: Professor John D. Kasarda, Director of Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise,

University of North Carolina; Professor Cao Yunchun, Director of Airport Economics Institute, China Aviation

University; and Tian Baohua, former president of the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China.

Representatives from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong airports will attend and make

statements.

According to the organizer, Insight Media, all participants must pay a fee for attendance, which is subject to

specific activities and registration times. For registration consultation, please contact Emma Dean, Senior

Manager, Conferences & Events. E-mail: emma@airportconference.com. Tel: +44 (0) 208 831 7505. For more
