Hong Kong Airlines Selects Panasonic Avionics Corporation's eX2 IFEC System for New A330
Wide-body Aircraft

of-the-art in-flight entertainment and communication (IFEC) systems, today announced that Hong Kong
Airlines has installed the industry-leading eX2 IFEC system cabin-wide in each of its new A330-200
aircraft. Hong Kong Airlines' eX2-equipped aircraft, which will be used for international routes, are the
first in its fleet to offer multi-language audio and video on demand (AVOD) services, including movies,
television programs, CDs, and soundtracks to passengers.

Hong Kong Airlines' IFEC configuration uses touch-screen smart monitors and multifunction handsets
to provide an exciting, interactive AVOD experience cabin-wide, at every seat. The first of the six A330-
200 equipped with Panasonic's eX2 IFEC system will be in service June 2010. Initial international long-
haul routes will be between Hong Kong and Moscow.
