- First Viva Macau flight lands in Melbourne, heralding a new age in low fare travel to north Asia including Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.

Melbourne, Australia - Viva Macau Airlines, Macaus international award-winning airline, celebrated the commencement of twice weekly direct Economy and Business class services between Melbourne and Macau. Melbournians can now fly directly to China's gateway and experience Macau, Asia's hottest tourism destination.

To celebrate the new route, Viva Macau Airlines is offering special fares from only A$339 for a roundtrip Economy Class ticket and A$699 for a roundtrip Business Class ticket.

Located on the Southeast coast of China on the western bank of the Pearl River Delta, Macau is a 55 minute ferry ride from Hong Kong and 10 minute drive to Zhuhai. Home to the largest scale integrated resorts in the Asia-Pacific, including the "Cotai Strip" beside the airport, Macau is famous for its world-class entertainment, casinos, and also cultural heritage.

Viva Macau Airlines will operate two flights per week, every Thursday and Saturday from Melbourne to Macau, every Wednesday and Saturday from Macau to Melbourne. Flights will depart Melbourne at 10:15 and 23:30 and land in Macau at 17:00 and 06:15. Return flights will depart Macau at 20:15 and 09:45 and arrive in Melbourne at 09:00 and 22:30.
