Abigroup hits the road as part of 2009 Variety Club Bash
As one of Australias leading and most diverse national contractors, Abigroup is
behind the construction of some of the countrys most important roads. This
August however, Abigroup will hit the road as part of the 2009 NSW Variety
Bash.
Abigroup is a proud sponsor of the 4 Kidz Team, which has participated in the
Bash for 18 years, in that time raising over half a million dollars for children with
special needs.
Its a great cause and we are proud to be supporting the 4 Kidz Team in its
fundraising efforts. The teams contribution over the years is commendable and
we wish them every success for this years event, said Abigroups NSW General
Manager Mark Palmer.
4 Kidz Team member Robert OBrien said, On behalf of the team I thank
Abigroup for its support. The money raised is going to such a great cause. Watch
out for the Abigroup-branded bus as we make our way from Bennelong Point to
Broken Hill via Alice Springs.
This years Bash marks the 25th anniversary of the event and culminates in the
teams from across all states meeting at Alice Springs before heading to their final
destinations.
