WALKER CORPORATION LAUNCHES $100 MILLION MONARO
INDUSTRIAL PARK WITH MAJOR COMPANIES
The ACT’s first masterplanned industrial estate – Monaro Industrial Park – launches on
Tuesday 20 October 2009 and has already attracted three major companies, two from
Queanbeyan, to become tenants in the $100 million development.
Created by one of Australia’s leading property development groups, Walker Corporation,
the park has already attracted major listed infrastructure group Downer EDI Ltd, local
freight transporter, Innaimo Transport, and national storage company Grace Records
Management.
Monaro Industrial Park is one of two major ACT undertakings by Walker, which is also
developing the new A-Grade 40,000sqm Department of Education, Employment &
Workplace Relations Headquarters in Canberra Civic.
