Opportunities for Local Employment
Local builders, tradespeople, contractors, suppliers, business representatives, service
providers and other interested parties are invited to attend a public forum where
Abigroup will outline opportunities to participate in the Building the Education
Revolution (BER) program for schools in the Sydney Region.
Abigroups overall package of works in the Australian Governments Nation Building
Economic Stimulus Plan involves managing the design and construction of a wide

Abigroup is now actively seeking participants in local project teams being formed to
take responsibility for the construction delivery of the specific works required at each
school. Individual projects may include a communal hall, covered learning area,
library, classrooms, administration block, toilet block or the upgrade of existing
facilities.
While we have already fielded enquiries from potential participants, were keen to
maximise local community involvement, said Abigroups Stakeholder & Community
Engagement Manager, Matt Frodsham. So were conducting two open sessions later
this month to provide further details, invite participation and respond to any
questions.

commencing at 4.00pm. An identical session is scheduled for 29 June at the Leichhardt
