The DEP Launches Web Directory to Promote Thai Products Worldwide
BANGKOK, May 13 /InfoQuest-AsiaNet/ --
The Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce, is ready to launch new website under the
"Industrial PR Online Marketing" project in February 2010. To boost up Thailand's export, the project is inviting
Thai exporters in all industries to promote their goods and services through online marketplace on the website
to create opportunities and approach channel expanded to worldwide business investors and importers.
The new website ThaiExport.ThaiTrade.com is aimed at adding new channels to promote Thai products' sale
in worldwide market via the internet and impulsing interests of oversea Thai products importers. The website
will function as the database for visitors, to be easily reached for information about Thailand's goods and
services in 10 major industries including Thai exporters' profiles and update news and business information.
Moreover, visitors can share information which they are interested with the most famous online social network
on Facebook and Twitter, etc. This is to enhance the competitiveness of Thai exporters and trade
opportunities in the future.
The webpage are well designed to support 3 targets which are general visitors, Thai exporters and
international investors/importers. All users can rely on the searching system to find businesses and products,
as well as explore trade news and updated data with free membership registration as a plus. Additionally, Thai
exporters who are website member users can generate, add or edit their products information and company
profiles by themselves. What's more? This is the opportunity that allows foreign visitors, who are interested in
business and products to contact the exporters directly by themselves through the website!
The DEP invites all Thai exporters to visit the website and become members in order to update your
businesses and products information and use the website to promote Thai products in the world market,
following the aim to increase export competitiveness and capabilities to promote export value creation.
