Matt Moran and Anolon launch Australia’s first Gourmet Authority Competition


One of the world’s largest cookware manufacturers, Meyer Cookware is pleased to announce

that renowned celebrity chef Matt Moran has been named the brand ambassador for their

gourmet cookware brand Anolon. One of Australia’s most popular and respected chefs, Matt Moran

has collaborated with Anolon cookware to launch a nationwide search to find Australia’s ‘gourmet

authority’. 


“Every cooking enthusiast has a signature dish, one that they know will impress their guests at a dinner

party,” said Matt Moran.  “The search to find Australia’s Gourmet Authority will showcase the creativity

Australians have in created their own unique dishes. I look forward to seeing the recipes they have to

share. “


Anolon cookware and Matt Moran are encouraging Australians to unleash the ‘gourmet within’ by


cooking experience of a lifetime. The winner of the best dish per state, as chosen by Matt Moran, will be

in the running to battle it out to win a major prize including a cooking master class with Matt Moran

himself.


The launch of the competition and Anolon’s new brand ambassador comes in the wake of a significant

increase in at-home cooking and entertaining potentially triggered by popular cooking programs such as

MasterChef, as well as the rise in at-home ‘cocooning’.
