Find Out What the City's Best Architects Think

The free and hugely successful ARBV Melbourne Open House Speaker's Series is back. This year the event is twice as big with two engaging evenings on our city's architecture.

The first event, `Design City! Built Melbourne' sponsored by the Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) will be held at the Capitol Theatre on the 6th July.

MOH Vice President Tim Leslie said that this was a unique opportunity to hear first hand from the architects of the city's most well known and loved buildings in one of our most internationally renowned spaces, Walter Burley Griffin's Capitol Theatre.

"These buildings are either part of this city's conciseness or will soon be and there is no other time when the public get the chance to hear from the architect about their designs.

"The architects will present one of their key projects and conclude by discussing their favorite project by another Melbourne architect

"It was standing room only last year and it's likely to be the same again. The event is free and non-ticketed so attendees will have to make sure they arrive early to get a good seat," Mr Leslie concluded.

Date: Tuesday 6 July 2010
Time: Doors open at 6.00pm for 6.30pm start
Event Location: Capitol Theatre, 113 Swanston St, Melbourne
