Innovation in Manufacturing Seminar
Venue : Coffs Harbour Education Campus,
2 Hogbin Drive, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450
Time & Date: Tuesday 4th May from 4:00pm-6.00pm

Business needs innovation. Bringing ideas to market however, needs a solid, systemized approach. Growing a business to build value or for sale can present challenges for companies with debt finance options greatly reduced.

Presented by the NSW Innovation Advisory Service (IAS), the free seminar Innovation in Manufacturing will cover the elements required to build value into your company, manage your intellectual property and strategies to effectively grow your business or build value for sale. Using the framework presented in the Alchemy Innovation Flowchart, presented will be a local case study and their practical pathways to commercial success.

"Companies wishing to explore the practical steps towards commercialisation, including financing options should attend" says Dan Liszka, CEO NSW Innovation Advisory Service. "Smart companies are always looking for ways to leverage innovation into growth," he says.

Innovation in Manufacturing will be presented by Dan Liszka with the case study presented by Paul Brockwell from Intelligent Plastic, a company which develops inexpensive sensors for client companies using its internationally patented technology. Applications include freshness indication in packaged foods and beverages, ripeness in fruits, oxidation in cellared wine, monitoring blood during distribution and greenhouse gas emission from automobiles. Intellectual property matters will be presented by Anthony Crowle of Davies Collison Cave, Australia's leading Intellectual Property (IP) firm.

A free consultation service will be available with both the NSW Innovation Advisory Service and Davies Collison Cave on Wednesday 5th May. To book appointments call 1300 411 417 or [email protected].

The NSW Innovation Advisory Service is financed by the NSW State Government to support innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs and small to medium enterprises to turn new ideas into viable products and new businesses.
